Thanks so much for the advice about lumpectomy bras. I'm sure it will be helpful when I have surgery next month. I just read your journey and have to compliment your great attitude. What a lengthy ordeal you've had. I wish you all the best from here on out!

6 years ago today, I was diagnosed with Metastatic Appendix Cancer. I couldn't have imagined that I'd not only still be here, but be doing so well 6 years later!

Off to the hospital in an hour for rotator cuff surgery. I'll be losing use of my dominant hand/arm for an extended period, and am not happy. However, the repair must be done (the tear is a sports injury.) Back later....

Hi Abrub, do you know anything about the valve part of this question? Can you help her by chance?

I saw the question, and unfortunately don't know the answer, tho she might find something on the Colorectal Forum of CSN. My surgeon removed colon, some ileum, but stitched back in the ileocecal valve.
