Hi, cools. Hang in there one day at a time buddy. Soon you will have your treatment behind you and will be encouraging others! I finished R-CHOP a year ago as of December 17. The past year has been devoted to putting it all behind me! :) Being cancer free is worth the "inconvenience" of chemotherapy. I may just be one of the lucky ones, but looking back it was not that bad! Prayers to you for minimal side effects.

This is just my personal opinion but, if I was newly diagnosed, I would go with the Rituxan and see if it doesn't do the trick on its own first. I have known people who have gone that route and had great responses. With or without the chemo it has changed the outlook for NHL patients tremendously. One of the greatest advancements in cancer treatments!

Welcome to the WhatNext forum. I was diagnosed with Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia (a B cell NHL) two years ago. Early this month WM transformed into diffuse large B Cell lymphoma (yet another B cell NHL). I'm undergoing chemo for the second.

5 months agoI was diagnosed with Mantle Cell lymphoma three years ago in January. By May I was cancer free. Had a stem cell transplant in August of the same year. I have been cancer free ever since. I feel great most of the time now. I thank God and my family and friends for my recovery.
