Hi Nonna, I too have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer .Had a lumpectomy and one lymph node taken out which was positive. I know I will have to have radiation but cant do the radiation till i know if I need chemo or not. Doctor started me on Femara as a Hormone therepy ; have to take a bone density test on Dec. 1 and have to see my oncologist on Dec. 6 to see if I need chemo before my radiation. A bit scared but I am thankful that my condition is not as bad as other people are dealing with.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Hormone therapy): While waiting to see if I would have to have chemo before my sessions of radiation, the oncologist decided to put me on the
hormone therapy called Femara. Now I have to take a bone density test to see if I am going to have osteoporosus as a side effect of Femara.
