Hi Nonna, I too have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer .Had a lumpectomy and one lymph node taken out which was positive. I know I will have to have radiation but cant do the radiation till i know if I need chemo or not. Doctor started me on Femara as a Hormone therepy ; have to take a bone density test on Dec. 1 and have to see my oncologist on Dec. 6 to see if I need chemo before my radiation. A bit scared but I am thankful that my condition is not as bad as other people are dealing with.

What kind of treatments did you have to take. I have breast cancer > Invasive(Infiltrating) Ductal Carcinoma
Stage 1, Her2 Positive: No, ER Positive: Yes, PR Positive:Yes
I was diagnosed in August of 2011, had lumpectomy on Oct. 5, and still waiting for them to decide if I need Chemo before the Radiation treatments , but I have been started on hormone therepy : Femara .

Can you tell me more about your reactions from Femara because I have been on Femara for a whole week and I dont see my oncologist again until 12/1/11 for a bone density test.
