Hello Re. I am encouraged to see that you are a 14 year Stage IV cancer survivor. I finished active treatment 7 months ago for Stage IV and the latest scan last month shows all is well. You give me hope!

Hi Judith. I have been following your posts. Sorry to hear of all the side effects. I was also diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer and after 3+ years am doing well. The side effect, though, that has troubled me most is the memory changes, or brain fog. I really miss my brain. I hope that your side effects are becoming more manageable.

    Warmly,
    Lisa

I wanted to stop by and say hello. I was also diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer. I'm 3 years into a second diagnosis and so far the treatment has been effective. Let me know if there is anything I can do to support you.

    Warmly,

Hi Kari. I read your posts and found myself nodding in recognition of so much that you said. I was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer 3 years ago with one lesion on my sacrum. I have felt fine all along. Being diagnosed with Stage IV cancer feels so surreal when you feel fine. I have taken bone strengthening drugs (Aredia) and hormone therapy (Zoladex and Tomaxifen). It hasn't spread in 3 years and the even better news is that about a month ago the latest scan showed NED - no evidence of disease. Yippee! But still feels surreal since I never really felt bad. I just hear an oncologist say - "You have cancer" and then "there is no evidence of disease" and I feel the same either way. Surreal is the best word to describe it.

Hi. I have been following your postings. I liked your assessment of the Major Oh No. I was also diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer. After 3 years of various treatments, I learned a couple of weeks ago I am NED - no evidence of disease. Amazing. It can happen! Would love to hear more about how you are doing.
