Hello LoriR and welcome. I have a diagnosis of Uterine Sarcoma also. I finished chemo in April 2012, and radiation in July 2012. This is a great place if you have any questions or if you just need to vent. So sorry for all you are going through.

I'm so sorry you've had such a hard time with treatment. I hope the internal radiation is easier for you. I also have endometrial cancer, but because of several factors (stage IV B, but non-aggressive, and it metastasized to the omentum, which was removed), I've only done chemo following surgery, no radiation. I'm sorry for the circumstances that led you here, but I'm glad you found us. As Greg said, there are a lot of really great people here, who can answer questions, offer empathy or just whine right along with you. And they'll pick you up when you are down.

Radiation (External radiation ): October 3rd everything caught up with me! This was my first day of radiation and I was vomiting within 2 hours of treatment. Second day of radiation I was vomiting within 1 hour of treatment. This isn't going well! By day 18 I had to be hospitalized for 4 nights. They sent me home on Monday, only to call me Tuesday to return to the hospital for 65 hours of IV antibiotics due to a blood infection. I still needed to complete 7 days of radiation plus the "boost" at the end. I tried everything to get out of it (even crying) but it didn't work. I have completed the last 7 and the boost and am waiting for a phone call about starting the internal. I am not looking forward to it! I am exhausted~
