    Cancer has spread/Metastasized

    Oh No

My mother was feeling under the weather for a few months and she began loosing weight. In October, I went with her to the doctor and they told her they needed more tests to figure out what was going on with her. In November, we discovered she had stage 4 colon cancer and she is terminal.

    Liver mapping

    Procedure or Surgery

The cancer has spread to her liver. The doctors performed a mapping surgery to see if they could blast radioactive beads into her liver, but the discovered during the mapping that this was not an option.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

She's taking liquid chemotherapy and chemotherapy pills. She's been doing so for a little over a month and the tumors are still very large in her liver. She pretty much has no body fat at this point because the tumors are so large, even the tiniest amount of food makes her feel full.
