    Hormone therapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

We were told the anti androgen meds would give us 3 - 5 years. However last August the PSA went up and has continued to do so. We are now working with an Oncologist with Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN to see what else can be done. The recent scans (bone and CAT) indicate increases in tumor sizes. But Onco reassures us that there are new things out there they can do for us.

    Radiation

We are in the middle of a 10 day treatment. It is going amazingly well and we have high hope for the desired result.

    Radiation

We've finished our first course of radiation therapy. They had my husband ring a big ship's bell when we left for the last time, which was appropriate for a Marine! We now continue to wait.
