    Procedure or Surgery

My mom was diagonosed with malignant mixed mullerian tumor ( carcino sarcoma) which was a tumour contained in her uterus.Once detected, she had a major hysterectomy and BSO surgery. Her recovery post surgery was good, then she underwent 25 sittings of radiotherapy and 5 of concurrent chemotherapy. Post this, her onco informed her that she has an 85% chance of survival,3 cycles of chemo recommened post this had no evidence of improving her chances of survival, and that he was ok should she have chosen not to continue the chemo. So she chose not to continue the chemo as there was no assurance or guarantee of anything beyond this.

    Went as Expected: Strongly Agree
    Minimal Recovery: Agree
    Minimal Side Effects: Agree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Disagree
