    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

To me chemo is a necessary evil. Carboplatin seems to be the cancer's hated treatment. I am in the process of 6 one time every three weeks. I am on treatment 2 of 6. No ports, no picc line. This is the fourth series of çhemo in 9 years.

    BRCA1 & BRCA2 Positive

    Oh No

I found out in August of 2005 that I carry the gene mutations BRCA 1 and BRCA2. Usually a person of Jewish (azweshe) ancestry which I did not know that I was carries one but not both mutations. Cancer is chronic for me... It has been, my personal journey since 2004. For my family I have lived with loved ones my whole life.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

This is my fourth series of chemo. My second carboplatin experience. Fatigue and shakeyness is my biggest complaint. I really don't like the feeling of physically weakness. However, I try to keep my spirits high. Knitting and writing my son who just entered the Air Force, and my daughter who is at Michigan State University. The farther away from treatment day the better I feel.
