    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

First 10 FolFox sessions (three days, every two weeks) went relatively smoothly. THEN it all changed after sessions 10, 11 and 12 as chemo (oxaliplatin/5-FU) impacted body causing feet and fingers neuropathy and all bowel issues really became a problem from untimed frequency and urgency. Six months since ending FolFox chemo (August 2012), neuropathy has not diminished - more annoying than painful -- while bowels have "somewhat" improved where often still unpredicitable find timing more often - no guarantees every day - concentrated to repeated bathroom visits anywhere from 30 to 90 minute durations during day, while now remaining inactive most times at night allowing for better sleep.
