    Radiosurgery of the brain

    Procedure or Surgery

We were at the hospital for 8 hours and my finance had this metal frame around his head for most of the time that we were there. Pretty scary to look at, but it zapped the tumor in his brain.

    Chemotherapy and immunotherapy combined (biochemotherapy)

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Chase went through his first round of IL2. He took 10 treatments. It ended up being too many for his body to take and ended up in the ICU. He was trying so hard to breath. Pulmonary edema and bilateral pneumonia. He had to be put on a breathing machine. A couple days later, he got off the machine and then out of the ICU. We are home now and we see the specialist in 2 days to see if IL2 is still the best option.

    Cancer has spread/Metastasized

    Oh No

From the scans that were taken in the hospital we were told that the cancer is now in his spleen and bone. We were not told either, I read the discharge papers to find out. (!)
