    Oh No

My problem is with the responses I get from people I choose to tell about my breast cancer. I thought it was important to let my relatives know of my diagnosis if only for their own vigilance in their own breast health. As far as I know, I am the only member of my blood relatives to have breast cancer. Luckily, my prgnosis is good because it was caught so early. However, my female relatives have been in such denial about getting their yearly exams. Some are supportive to me with regards to my procedures and others are putting more effort in trying to find ways to separate themselves from me by blaming me for my lifestyle choices. ie, the foods I eat, where I choose to live. I am so sick of them trying to find reasons. No one will ever know where exactly this came from. Now, they are trying to "cure" me with homeopathic stuff. I am certainly old enough to follow my own doctor's advice. Has anyone else had such a discouraging time with their family?
