Removed tumor and adjacent lymph glands, liver resection.Things went fine until final closing when stapler misfired filling rectal stump with holes so colostomy(perm.)performed.He was left with what seems like a permanant abscess at end of rectal stump.

    Cancer has spread/Metastasized

    Oh No

Noticed a change in personality and weakness on left side and wondered if he had a stroke so had him evaluated. Nope! A stroke would've been better...spread to frontal lobe-2 lesions.

    Internal radiation

    Radiation

Brian had 17 consecutive days of full brain radiation that took the swelling down but lots of "chemo-brain". Up until radiation, he had not lost any hair, significant weight-loss, color good. Now,he is very thin and bald (but still wonderful in my eyes). He has balance problems and some misplaced memory.
