    Diagnosed

    Oh No

Have always been healthy, so was very surprised by hearing I had cancer. Looking back, my mother had colon cancer, but it still gave me a surprised OH NO feeling in hearing the diagnosis.

    Chemotherapy and radiation combined

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

With chemo - I had a bad reaction, which the doctor stopped the chemo immediately. With radiation, just the site where I was being radiated was terribly painful.

    Milestones

Three month follow up appt showed no signs of cancer. Next appt will be in 6 months (follow-up). Relieved but still can't shake the idea that cancer will return - some day. How do you deal with this?
