My partner started with chemo drugs cisplatin and etoposide. On the fifth round of chemo, she was switched from cisplatin to carboplatin because of kidney issues. She also had to receive an aranesp shot for red blood cells.

My partner was having radiation at the same time as chemotherapy so some of the side effects were from chemo. She finished 13 brain radiation treatments and 31 chest radiation treatments
