    Dental

    Other Care

my saliva glands were a casualty of my radiation. Between the radiation treatments and the dry mouth, all of my teeth are breaking apart. My insurance does not cover dental so.... I am on my own. Did get evaluated., must have 20 sessions of hydrobaric oxygen treatments before oral surgery and 10 after. it is a possibility that the radiation treatments won't let my mouth heal. They also tell me that because of the dry mouth, I my not be able to have dentures. How am I supposed to eat??? When I posed this question I was told "soft foods". OK, but I'm already under weight from chemo and radiation... still. can't afford to lose any more.
