Lumpectomy
Procedure or Surgery
making decisions hardest part also had sentinel lymph node removed but I couldn't list both in the system above unless I should do it separately: was done at same time. Hurt for a while as did the biopsy but better now. All in all really liked my surgeon and it has healed well
working with other health care to focus on healthy, doing breathwork, and meditation
Other Care
going for a 3 day intensive next week.
I have to decide on radiation and the meds to surppess my hormones now
Decision Point
Got 2 options on the radiation: one is full breast other is partial with radiation 2x day for l week. Possible side effects and late side effects worry: include possible lung (cough., already have that) possible effect on sac around my heart (had issue with that before very painful) a rib could break. I have fatigue issues now. Although I am told these are likely to be brief or may not occur, it really worries me. I am still on the hormone fence also.
