    Double Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

Had ultra sound then a biopsy and a PET Scan and found out I had three lumps in the right breast opted to have a double mastectomy they also took out 9 lymph nodes and out of the nine 3 had cancer. I did the double mastectomy because they said it would probably come back in the left breast. I also opted not to start reconstruction because if I had to have radiation a couple of people told me that it would mess it up. I had two other people that had reconstruction and theirs mess up was misshaped and they had problems.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

The chemo was not so bad but the Lasta shot the day after was the killer it made you feel like you had the flu for about 4 days. I had no energy and I was not one for laying around but it got me. Ever since chemo I can't remember anything I can remember things from my child hood but not things from yesterday.

    Reconstruction Problems

    Procedure or Surgery

Had test because they think cancer is back, they did another PET Scan and then they wanted to do a EKG the man who did this scan had to get to the bottom of my heart and thats where I had expander still there. He dug and dug to get the scan and the next day my boob was one big bruise two days later a spot came up like a blister the day after that it burst and they had to take that expander out. This sucks!
