    Diagnosed

    Oh No

Originally diagnosed with Hodgkins in July 1996 at the age of 28. Summer was spent bouncing from one doctor to the next to verify the staging and spread. Small growths were found in my lung and also abdomen, requiring a combo of both chemo and radiation.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

My chemo cocktail for first diagnosis was fairly straightforward. No vomiting or nausea and no hair loss (although I was losing my hair naturally so go figure). Only odd effect? Hiccups and some constipation.

    Finished treatment

    Celebration

Always a good time when one finishes treatments although my strength and vigor were intact so that made things easier.
