    Procedure or Surgery

Surgery was a success and Dr. Blanchard did a wonderful job with getting the cancer out of the right breast and surrounding areas. Follow up visits were wonderful. Dr. Blanchard also put my port in 4 days prior to my chemo treatment with no problems.

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Just had my first chemo treat on Jan 31, 2013 and had no problems with receiving the treatment. A little sore where the needle was put in the port but overtime that will go away. I just had the port put in on Monday so that's to be expected. So far the only side affects were dizziness, nausea, exhausted earlier in the day, can't sleep at night. Impact on daily life - Teleworking to help offset my leave time. The medical bills of over $7,000 dollars with insurance that I'm trying to find financial support to help pay because they were unexpected cost that will leave my household financial disabled with a 17 year old starting college this year.
