I am on cyclophosphamide, and it has stopped me in my tracks. I am nauseus, feeling fatigue that I didnt' know existed, and dizziness. I am supposed to acclimate. Humph!

I am taking cyclophosphamide orally. I am experiencing fatigue and dizziness, and haven't been this nauseous since I was pregnant. I have no appetite, and it is so hard to keep up a balanced diet. And one thing about cancer, everyone wants you to eat. I am a therapist who specializes in swallowing disorders, so I have some experience with this, but have never been inundated with so much food! And the sores in my mouth are so painful it makes it hard to eat anything! I have said it before and it is true "food is love."

    Side Effects

I have a freakin' master's degree! I have completed internships! I have participated in studies for review! And I can-not-remember when to put out my trash! I can't remember the names of my chemo drugs. I can't remember conversations. I can't remember if I have fed my dog, who will tell me, by the way. He normally gets fed more than he should now, because I would never let him go hungry. I think my husband is ready to string me up. Please tell me this is TEMPORARY! I used to be so smart!

    Diagnosed

    Oh No

I had been in pain for years. My gynecologist, whom I had known for years, dismissed me continually. Their new system was to complete pap smears every three years, instead of every year. I had to switch doctors to get a diagnosis.
