I have lived w/NHL for 24yrs + now, probably many years longer than I should have. I've been through 3 rounds of chemo, destroyed my Immune system, and still managed to survive. I've now managed to live through Cyberknife Radiation and 6mos of Chemo for stage 1 ductal Breast Cancer that pretty much knocked me to the ground and gave me peripheral neuropathy in my legs, but I'm coming back and am up to a mile now on the treadmill in 30mins. I quit using the cane about 3mos ago. My only real problem is that I was on acyclivir last winter for a herpes lesion in my eye and it made my hair fall out after it had just grown back in from the chemo(drat it all). Well, when I figured out that it was the acyclivir making my hair fall out, we were able to d/c the acyclivir, but my hair has never really come back like it was before. It has been 6mos now and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to make my hair grow like it was after the chemo and before the acyclivir?
