    Felt anxious after initial diagnosis and biopsy confirming cancer had spread to lymph nodes.

    Radiation and chemotherapy together

    Radiation

    Initially, had very minimal side effects from radiation and chemo. With passage of time, experienced side effects. Shortly after conclusion of treatment, side effects diminished and skin started to heal!

    Nothing unusual - mouth, tongue and throat sores, diarrhea, fatigue, nausea, chemo brain.

    Celebration

    Just finished chemo and radiation with testing to occur in June!
