    Breast Reconstruction (Flap)

    Procedure or Surgery

I never quite healed, then it was discovered that the cancer went to my spine. I now focus on that and live w/ ugly reconstruction. But, I'm alive, more important.

    Cancer has spread/Metastasized

    Oh No

When looking for something else, spots were discovered on my spine. Guess I was lucky? Usually these would be found when it is harder to treat.

    Hospitalization

    Other Care

In Sept. 2012 my husband found me on the floor unresponsive and not breathing. Between his CPR and the police using defib I survived. Was in a coma for 3 days. Now I can add cardiomyopathy to my list of new vocab words.
