    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I strongly disagree that chemo was easy to do. It was an emotionally hard thing to do/go through. However, I was extremely fortunate to not have any side effects. My only complaint was feeling tired. I worked 40 + hours weekly, never missed a day of work. I believe that kept me occupied & made my journey easier to handle. It did not allow me it sit & think & have self-pity. I had 6 months of chemo every 3 weeks followed with Rituximab every 3 months for 2 years. At the start I said how am I going deal with this for 2 ½ years. Now that it is over. It was the fastest 2 ½ years of my life. I have Follicular Lymphoma which is a non-curable cancer. However, at the completion of the 6 months I am in remission. For how long I do not know. What I do know is I will never give up!
