    Diagnosed

    Oh No

I went back to my OB after a couple months of hospital visit's and embarrassing OBGYN visit's, for a female Doctor to take one look at my cervix as she is trying to get a Biopsy and as she gets up from "down there" she informs me " You have cancer" and proceeds to leave the room, leaving me trying to sit up and sobbing.

This didn't work.... I was opened up but left with all my "lady" parts... when I woke up and was told I was devastated.

    Cancer has spread/Metastasized

    Oh No

Find out that there was to much cancer to even attempt to take out and that there was a melon sized tumor sitting on my uterus pushing against my bladder and rectum.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Started chemo for 6 rounds. Once a week, I lost 50 pounds VERY quickly. I stopped eating, my family had to force feed me, I stopped drinking and on top of the fluids I was getting with chemo I also had to come once a week and get more because I got to the point I was pretty much in a wheelchair.

    External radiation

    Radiation

This was a daily event for me for 35 treatments while I was doing chemo. It was painless but embarrassing because I had lay face down with my back end showing. I am 8 months out from that and I still had side effects from it.

    Painless Experience: Strongly Agree
    Minimal Side Effects: Strongly Disagree

    Decision Point

Doc say's he's never treated some one with my cancer the kind and severity. There's no research on it. He is as shocked as I am, so it is my decision on weather to do 2 more e chemo's just to be safe or take a 3 month break and the get retested. I choose the chemo.

    Blood Transfusion #7

    Other Care

This will be my 7th blood transfusion. It's supposed to make me feel better but all it does is make me tired and blah but it is a necessary evil. It just takes sooo long. about 6-8 hours for me.

    Hospitalization

    Other Care

Spending some time in the hospital getting platelets counts got down to 32. not what I want to be doing but doc says its for the best. My body rejected the platelets, so 3 nose bleeds later I saw an ent and am going to be put on antibiotics for my nose to promote healing.

    Oh No

I not sure how this happened but I found out today I now have cancer in my lymph node in my sternum. There are not many options at this point but I am going to have a radiation consult and a pet scan if my insurance will approve it.
