    Surgery

    Procedure or Surgery

Hematuria 12/10, ultrasound and renal scan showed non functioning R kidney and blockage of R ureter. Cysto and stent 1/11 did not relieve the blockage. Removal of non functioning kidney was recommended. 3 UTIs with heavy bleeding in 6 months. Surgery to remove R kidney and blockage in ureter 10/11. Pathology report showed large tumor in kidney lining , ureter and lymph node (transitional cell that is usually found in bladder lining), making it stage 4. Chemo began 11/29/11. Cisplatin & Gemzar.

    Oh No

I went back to the surgeon, pleased to be healed and was surprised by the pathology report.
