    mastectomy or lumpectomy

    Decision Point

The doctors advised me to get a mastectomy and I am so glad I did. Had they done a lumpectomy they never would have found the second tumor in the right breast. This was told to me later on in my treatment.

    Procedure or Surgery

drs took part of the lump out for a biopsy and yes it was cancer. they stitched it back up and was sent home for two weeks with the tumor still in me. my first thought was that it will spread if it stays in any longer this put alot of stress on my daily life for the next two weeks.
