    Procedure or Surgery

I was hospitalized for 2 weeks due to some complications including tremendous diarrhea and a wound infection. Recovery from surgery took much longer than I expected. Regaining my energy and strength was tough. Returned to part-time work after 6 weeks.

    Celebration

Oncologist and gastroenterologist agree that Sandostatin doesn't seem necessary. So as of August, I am no longer receiving injections.

Three years cancer free. Down to CT Scan annually. Blood work and see my oncologist quarterly.
