Oh No
Told I had a cervical tumor on Valentine's day after having an MRI. My only symptom was a mucous discharge which I continue to have. My oncologist said it will continue until the tumor shrinks, but it is still gross.
Chemotherapy
Drug or Chemo Therapy
I am taking cisplatin 1X week. The treatment lasts 5 hours and is mentally exhausting. No side effects except a very sore arm from the IV. 4 more treatments to go.
Radiation
10 out of 30 sessions done. So far no side effects- it is quick and painless. Hope it stays that way.
