    Nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy)

    Side Effects

Some days my feet hurt so bad when I wake up! I feel like I'm walking on pins and needles. My fingers are okay. I try to cross stich and do other activities to keep my fingers working.

    Oh No

Really? After 40 rounds of chemo it's really back? Planning for surgery, again and more rounds of chemo.

    Job

    Loss

24 second graders are crying as I tell them that I am leaving for the rest of the year. First, I have testing, report cards and (can you believe it) parent/teacher conferences. A month later I am ready for surgery.

    Debulking surgery

    Procedure or Surgery

This surgery was so much easier. I think it was because my nerves where already so damaged that this time the pain was easier.

Tumors on my diaphram so couldn't take it all. 80% chance it would "melt away" with chemo. Started chemo again.

    Cancer is shrinking

    Celebration

Cancer was not really shrinking but it was stable after being off chemo for a few months. Decided to take a break from chemo until it looks like something is happening again.

    Oh No

CA125 numbers are elevated. Dr. wants to wait a couple months and let me "enjoy the holidays" before I start chemo again. Okay, need to get serious here. Juicing 1 beet and 2 oranges each morning and other healthy stuff.

Well, numbers are higher, but the good news is the MRI is clear. Now just waiting for CTSCAN results. Also looking for a Christmas miracle.
