    Internal radiation

    Radiation

the internal radiation was more scary to me but after everyone explaining it to me I got thru it I used a stress reliever, brought a book, I wore a rosary bracelet all for 7 - 9 minutes over three sessions. I'm very blessed and grateful. I was super fatigued like I never experienced but I did take those two days the day of and the day after and then I went back to work. Sometimes I would feel so sick to my stomach but once it's passed it passed. I go back for my check up in September. Currently doing the dialator which isn't so enjoyable but I move along and do it it's important....I am enjoying each day and every day I feel better. I'm going for acupuncture and learning Chi Gong meditation. I am trying to get rid of this bloating in the hysterectomy area/incision area and get some energy back. Hopefully going forward i'll be healthier than before. Thanks for the support.

    Painless Experience: Neutral/NA
    Minimal Side Effects: Disagree

    CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine)

    Other Care

I have been going to a Qigong instructor who is teaching me meditation and also gives me acupuncture. The reason I started going was to get my energy back. I am not into hokey-pokey results or solutions but I am not a relaxed person so I thought meditation would be better than medication! I am really learning a lot about myself and about not getting wound up over things that probably will never happen and finding some quiet time for me. I am also a caregiver for my 83 year old mother so I do get worn out. I go back beg. of September for my first six-month check-up. I am positive this is all behind me....Thank you to someone who posted that fat cells create more estrogen, I do need to lose weight...a reminder was a good thing....
