    Targeted therapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Receiving target drug Herceptin which I am getting every 3 wks since I am Her+. Also, my nuclear heart scan (MUGA) which evaluates heart-wall movement & heart function with a technique called cardiac gating, that showed a decrease from 58% to 52%. This will be monitored very closely, every 8 wks, to determine if I can continue. My oncologist told me if my heart function tests less than 50%, then she will order the Herceptin to be stopped.

    Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

I have fluid buildup behind the scar. Had it drained several times with less fluid each time, so hopeful it will stop soon...it's been over 4 mo since the surgery.
