External radiation
Radiation
I have completed 20 radiation treatments. 17 more to go. Yes, I have a sunburn,I am using aquaphor to help the skin, and yes I am really tired. After 16 weeks of chemo and 20 of 37 rounds of radiation. We have done an aggressive treatment to help make sure that the cancer is gone!
Celebration
Yesterday my Dr. told me I had "No active cancer", He feels I am cancer FREE! I still have 8 more radiation then treatment is done. Hurray! My chances of recurrence is about 12%. I am still facing more surgery and healing.
Celebration
Radiation is now complete all 37 rounds. Very tired, but so happy to be done. Now 6 to 8 weeks to build back up my body and then more surgery. I was told that I have no active cancer in my body! Awesome! What a hard journey this year has been. Let us pray next year will be better for ALL!
