    Decision Point

First I would like to say thank you all. It's been like pulling teeth since I was dx 9/11/08. I have been my own researcher advocate to the point I was leaning through the office window making calls to shands about my biopsy results. I ask for advise mastectomy vs lumpectomy and was told Debbie it's up to you with no education about it given. I was taking Tomoxifen but so much was going on I had a + stress test plus depression no following up with me. plus much much more. If it could go wrong it did. My mom had ovarian cancer in her 20's came back as breast cancer in her 30's I am BRAC 2 + and my granmother died of breast cancer so I had been trying to get my ovaries out when it came back in my thigh and no one believed me untill it ate so much bone away that I had to have a rod placed from my hip to my knee 9/2012 and in 12/18/12 in the ER with stage 4 lung liver abd/pelvis all over I was told. 3cycles of chemo and cancer is gone except for two spots on my lower left lobe Thank GOD. But I'm scared and I want to do whatever I can to keep ugly awful very painfull cancer away.
