Surgery
Procedure or Surgery
Had feeding tube and port pre-emptively. Went in for radiation, but tumor so large it cut off airway and was revived with tracheostomy & pacemaker. Trach will eventually be removed once tumor shrunken sufficiently.
Chemotherapy
Drug or Chemo Therapy
After trached-Started a very aggressive chemo to shrink tumor. Even though it shrunk by half, the cost was becoming septic & right colon dying. Now have an ileostomy, also reversible once cancer treatment finished. Family said goodbye as surviving sepsis was 50-50. Made it and have MUCH to live for!
