    Cancer has spread/Metastasized

    Oh No

They thought that I it might have migrated to my lung. So I was prepped for a Whipple and had a lung biopsy while I was under. If the spot they took out of my lung was not cancer they would proceed with the Whipple. I woke up in recovery and looked at the clock and new from the time that had elapsed it was not enough time for the Whipple. That was my oh no moment.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I have been on chem: 5FU+leukovorin+oxaloplatin for 5 rounds. So far the side effects haven't been too bad. Managing the nausea with ondansetron and that seems to work well.

    CT Results

    Celebration

Received my CT results yesterday and it shows no new cancer nodules. The ampullary cancer has stayed the same and some of my lung nodules have shrunk. Would have liked to hear that it all went away, but I am thankful that it is being controlled and even shrinking some.
