    Diagnosed

    Oh No

After a routine mammo I received a "call back". I wasn't worried at all. Then while waiting for the nurse to send me on my way I was asked to go back in for a few more pics. Then came the ultrasound and biopsy, all the same day. I received the call the following day.

    Decision Point

Due to a deep family history of ovarian cancer (at young ages), the surgeon suggested genetic testing. Now I am awaiting the results and deciding what I'm going to do when I hear. If neg, surgeon suggest just a lumpectomy. If pos, he would like to do double mastectomy and total hysterectomy.
