    Radical hysterectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

I was staged 1B1 Invasive Endocervical Adenocarcinoma. I had a radical hysterecomy with bilateral lymph node dissection and ureta stents. Surgery was done in January 2012. I had a 2cm cancerous tumor on the cervix and a benign gladular tumor in my lymp node. Cancer was spread thru cervix and uterus.

    Abnormal Pap

    Oh No

My second pap test from my surgery date has come back abnormal. Squamous cells (ASC-US) and still HPV positive. Doctor has ordered a colposcopy to check to see if my cancer has come back. My thoughts are...was it really ever gone? I have read alot about micro cells being left behind when you have suregery to remove cancer. I'm really scared about this.

    Colposcopy

    Procedure or Surgery

I went for my Colposcopy today. I had an area that turned white when the iodine was added and she took a biopsy of that. I should know next week what the outcome is.
