    Hormone therapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I had hot flashes at times for several weeks after the year/18mo of shots (Elgar) but now I experience few affects following the shot.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

First days of each cycle (in my case Taxotere) are good because of booster in the dose. During mid-cycle I experience a few days of "why go on" because of very tender bone/musles pain. I could only sleep a few minutes at a time using zolpidem with some scotch. Late during each cycle things improve. Chemo was the biggest pain of the hormone, chemo, and radiation group.

    External radiation (Three dimensional)

    Radiation

Frequent urination/urge to urinate during and following treatment. That issue eventually diappearedabout 6mo after treatment. I found it easier to arrive early and drink water at the center rather that drinking before and driving to the center (I only needed to drive 10 minutes). I still take imodium for residual bowl issues but it is tolorable.
