    Stop Chemo

    Decision Point

It took 6 weeks before he recovered from the 3rd chemo... he decided no more... rather feel normal and live out my life, then feel sick and die anyway...

    Decision Point

My husband and I have been discussing his "Bucket List" since he has decided on Quality of Life vs Chemo side effects. We are planning a trip for our Anniversary in Vegas, where friends and family in California will be able to travel to. Finding joy in each day and checking off bucket list!

    Palliative Care via Hospice?

    Decision Point

Insurance suggested I consider Hospice, as we have been struggling with getting pain meds (for bone mets) with pharmacy and insurance. Have a mtg with Primary Doctor on Monday to discuss this. She has really been managing his care since he stopped all chemo, and only gets treatment for pain.

    Lost loved one

    Loss

I lost my husband on Jan 6th. We had a great Christmas, but on Jan 1st he suddenly got confused and went downhill fast. The doctors gave him 4/6 months, so the fact I had him for 12 months is a praise. My life will never be the same now.
