    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Oxaliplaten and Gemzar, 8 rounds. I developed allergy to the oxaliplaten. My cancer marker was dropping dramatically and my oncologist was very optimistic, then the chem stopped worked and a CT scan showed spread in some areas including some bone mets, although my primary tumor was apparently dying off. I got radiation for the bone mets and the radiation oncologist sounded very optimistic about getting rid of them, but I've been suffering a lot of pain in those areas. My regular oncologist doesn't want me to get any more chemo - he says there's nothing that would help me.

    External radiation

    Radiation

I began external radiation two weeks ago, and feel fatigue and some achiness. I already had fatigue (from chemotherapy I had and the cancer itself) but I seem to have more now. I have stage 4 pancreatic cancer and the radiation is to remove metastases in my lower back. I'm also being treated for a swollen lymph gland in my neck, I seem to have less back pain now, although it's had to judge how much difference my new pain medication (tramadol) is making). I have about another week of treatments to go.

    Painless Experience: Not Specified

    Symptoms

Pain after radiation in May was controlled by Tramadol and Tylenol, then Tramadol wreaked havoc on my stomach and I quit it. Now I'm having trouble finding something else to manage the pain. I seem to have trouble with narcotics. Flector Patch (diclofenac) seems to help ome but not enough). Any ideas?

    Cancer has spread/Metastasized

    Oh No

I got Oxaliplaten and Gemzar, 8 rounds. I developed allergy to the oxaliplaten, but still could get it.
