    diagnosis was not as expected.

    Oh No

received pathology report just one week ago and am still reeling from the news. I've been told I have roughly a 50-50 chance at survival over a five year timeline

My radiation oncologist is thinking of more surgery and will be discussing it with my surgeon.

    Decision Point

I will base my decision on whether to go ahead with further surgery on their recommendations.

    Surgery

    Procedure or Surgery

I received the diagnosis just over one week ago and am still kind of in shock. My sarcoma is grade 2 of 3 and is high grade. It's very rare and very aggressive. I'm about to start radiation treatments for six or seven weeks, five days a week. The sarcoma is in my maxilla which makes things more difficult than if it was in my extremities (which is more common)
