    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I took 4 A/C and 4 taxol dose dense treatments over a 4 month time period. I exercised 5-6 times a week throughout the treatments and didn't experience any nausa. I consider myself very fortunate. Other than hair loss, the most annoying side effect was a dry mouth.

    Double Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

It took about a solid 2 weeks to begin to get back to normalcy and about another 2 weeks to feel recovered from surgery. I still have to finish the final reconstruction after radiation is complete.
