    Radiation

After her surgery, my grandmother underwent Gamma Ray radiation to try and defeat the remaining portion of her tumor. It has slowly started to shrink.

    Hair loss (alopecia)

    Side Effects

Her hair grows unevenly and somewhat gets thin in cycles, but this is supposedly normal after gamma knife.

    Cancer is shrinking

    Celebration

After the gamma knife treatment, my grandmother's tumor has gotten smaller. She used to have to go in for checkups every 6 months and that has now been prolonged to 2 YEARS.
