    Axillary Lymph Node Dissection

    Procedure or Surgery

I had a normal procedure. 18/24 Lymphnodes were possitive. My recovery was terrible. The drain was probably left in too long, the site became terribly infected, and the pain and sickness lasted for weeks.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Chemo really changed my life. I was tired and weak. But as I listened to my nurse and body I learned how to get through better.

    Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

Beyond the emotional side, this was a simple procedure and recovery. Emotionally it still stinks.

    Breast Reconstruction (Flap)

    Procedure or Surgery

A very difficult surgery. Recovery was a big issue. But I never questioned the decision to have surgery. They aren't the same as before, but better than nothing.

    Hormone therapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I am back in treatment. It's not too bad- most people would never know that I have cancer. I even let myself forget sometimes. Ususally it isn't bad. Some days I feel scared.
