    Cancer? Are you kidding?

    Oh No

I was never a smoker, so how did I end up with lung cancer?

    Diarrhea

    Side Effects

Several side effects, but diarrhea has been the worst. Kinda puts a halt to living my life fully when I am uneasy about leaving the house for very long! Really wish I had my real hair back, too! Only lost about half of the hair, but it came back very kinky, curly, wavy, instead of the smooth, shiny easy to care for style I used to have.

    Remission

    Celebration

I am so thankful for the Tarceva! My tumors had shrunk within 90 days of beginning of treatment, and I have now been in full remission for over 9 months. I can live with the side effects, because taking the drug means I CAN LIVE!

    Lost loved one

    Loss

Shortly after I completed my surgery, I lost my dearest cousin to the lung cancer. Hers was small cell, however, and moved into her brain. She was so special and strong until the end. I will miss her forever.
