    tonsilectomy and neck dissection

    Recovered fairly quickly and returned to work after a few days.

    IMRT

    Radiation

    Husband tolerates the rads very well, but only on day 8. He will experience mouth sores and blisters, which he is pretreating for right now. Taste is completely gone.

    Loss of taste, beginning of mouth sores, red rash on face and neck

    Side Effects

    The rash is a good sihn that the chemo drug, Erbitux, is doing its jog. Docs very pleased.

    Once a week for an hour and a half infusion. Not too bad. Using Erbitux.
