    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I have a very intense chemotherapy regimen. It was R-CODOX-M/R-IVAC and it can also be known as the mcgrath regimen. It involves receiving chemo over a span a few days any where from 3-5 days depending in where you are in the treatment. It also included intrathecal chemotherapy (Chemo injected into your spinal fluid through a lumbar puncture). Despite the intensity of the therapy I had minimal side effects. Mild nausea through the whole regimen, one spinal headache, two red blood cell transfusions, one platelets transfusion. hair loss and extreme fatigue. I recovered rather quickly considering everything my body was put through during those 4 months of treatment. All in all it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been!

    Easy to Do: Disagree
    Minimal Side Effects: Neutral/NA
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Disagree
