over 7 years agoMore thorough going through of my pathology report by my Medical Oncologist.
Oh No
Grade 2+ which makes it borderline. Thus, my doctor wants to do an additional test before making recommendation for the next step. Also, the tumor is 1.5 cm, thus cancer is stage 1c. Will have Oncotype DX test done as well. Wait will be hard, but getting complete information is good.

Oncotype test showed high recurrence rate. Thus, need for chemotherapy. I had my first session on Monday, 10/14.

I had my third chemotherapy (of four) on Monday, 11/25. One more to go on 12/16! So far, I have been doing very well - no nausea or pain - only body aches toward the end of the first week and cumulative fatigue.

I had my fourth chemo on 12/16/13. Since side effects are cumulative, I had a hard time with fatigue which started toward the end of my third chemo session. In fact, it was not until 4-5 weeks after the last chemo that I finally felt well.
